About
I joined Zillow in 2016 and lead the company's efforts to apply AI in practical, human-centered ways across the home-buying experience. My teams span Search & Home Discovery, Conversational AI, 3D Vision & Rich Media, Valuation, User Understanding, Agent & Loan Officer experiences, and Machine Learning Platforms — about 50 product managers in all.
Before Zillow, I was a product manager at Prismatic and Twitter, and started my career in corporate strategy at Juniper Networks.
Beyond Zillow
I serve on the Board of Trustees at Lakeside School, where I co-lead the AI Task Force — helping the school develop responsible AI governance and equitable access for students. I've presented on AI in education at multiple National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) conferences.
I recently joined Stanford's Graduate School of Education Advisory Council, and I've testified before Congress on responsible AI in housing.
Background
I have a master's in computer science from Stanford (focused on AI and human-computer interaction), a BS in economics from the Wharton School, and a BSE in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
I'm a Seattle native and Lakeside School alum. My wife and I have two young kids who are making progress in becoming giant Seattle sports fans.
